Military Spouses of Strength is a national nonprofit organization with a mission

to improve the health and overall wellness within the military community.

The cost of a postsecondary education is on the rise; aside from tuition, textbooks and childcare can create financial hardship for any student working towards their degree, license or certification. Each month we update the various financial aid assistance options that available for military spouses.

Annually, various types of scholarship opportunities open up that spouses can qualify and there are some other funding programs that exist year-round (i.e. MyCAA, Post 9/11 GI Bill, Pell Grant). It is important to be organized and keep a list of deadline dates for applying. In addition, we keep a continuous list of the following sources of aid under the funding tab:

  • Scholarships (offered by private organizations, Reserve Officers' Training Corps, Veterans Service Organization Scholarships to include nonprofits)
  • Branch Aid Societies (offered annually)
  • Spouse Club Scholarships (Most Spouses' Clubs offer a scholarship for locally stationed spouses each year, we will post a list in January 2015)
  • MyCAA (Tuition assistance program through the DOD that has rank requirements, other stipulations)
  • Post 9/11 GI Bill
