Military Spouses of Strength is a national nonprofit organization with a mission
to improve the health and overall wellness within the military community.
In 2007, the Veterans Crisis Line has answered more than 1.86 million calls and made more than 50,000 lifesaving rescues. In 2009, the Veterans Crisis Line added an anonymous online chat service and has engaged in more than 240,000 chats. In November 2011, the Veterans Crisis Line introduced a text-messaging service to provide another way for Veterans to connect with confidential, round-the-clock support, and since then has responded to more than 39,000 texts.
Make the Connection is the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs’ national public awareness campaign that features true stories of Veterans who have faced and overcome challenges. Veterans’ unscripted and candid testimonials highlight the strength and resilience of those who have served our country, and demonstrate paths to leading fulfilling lives.
MSoS join the efforts of
Military Spouse Behavioral Health Clinicians (MSBHC), a group that benefits military spouse behavioral health clinicians by connecting them with all of the educational, professional and networking resources necessary to accomplish their educational and professional goals through MSBHC.org
Give an Hour™ is a nonprofit 501(c)(3), founded in September 2005 by Dr. Barbara Van Dahlen, a psychologist in the Washington, D.C., area. The organization’s mission is to develop national networks of volunteers capable of responding to both acute and chronic conditions that arise within our society.
USMC LIFE is everything about Marine Life intended to inspire, connect and educate other Marine Spouses and get informed about the best schools, where to shop and activities for the kids.
The Military Spouse Advocacy Network provides information on resources, benefits, and education opportunities. MSAN is working hard to have at least one MSAN Advocate and MSAN volunteers in each military installation that works directly with all military spouses, installation agencies, military leaders, and organizations that support MSAN to strive its goal.
The Homefront United Network was created for spouses and families, who are in need of additional support, especially those of the National Guard and Reserve who do not live on or near a military installation.
Macho Spouse is an educational video series and online resource for male military spouses and their families. Our content is relevant to all male military spouses, female military members, children of military families, and stay-at-home-dads.
The Military Spouse Education Initiative (MSEI) provides advocacy and academic support for military spouses and partners of all branches, ranks, and education levels in order to work with the obstacles of military life.
