Military Spouses of Strength is a national nonprofit organization with a mission
to improve the health and overall wellness within the military community.
Founded in 2008, the Tillman Scholars program supports our nation’s active-duty service members, veterans and military spouses by investing in their higher education. Since the program’s inception, the Foundation has invested over $6 million in scholarships for 347 scholars nationwide.
The application to become a 2016 Tillman Scholar will open February 2, 2016 and will close on March 1, 2016. MORE INFORMATION
Honoring Sacrifice with Opportunity. Costly tuition, textbooks, room and board, tutoring and an untold assortment of school-related fees can seem daunting to anyone. But thanks to the ongoing generosity of our donors, we continue to provide scholarships and educational opportunities to the children and spouses of those killed or disabled while in service to our nation. The Spouse/Caregiver Scholarship Program identifies, recognizes, and rewards post-9/11 spouses/caregivers for their strength, fidelity, and resolve despite adversity. Scholarships aid in continued education at a reputable, accredited university, college, or trade school for spouses/caregivers as they assume critical roles in the financial well being of their families.
Scholarship awards are made payable to the scholarship recipient's institution for payment of tuition, books and supplies. The scholarship is for U.S. Colleges and universities only.
The Council of College and Military Educators (CCME) is pleased to offer $1000 scholarships each year to United States Service members (active duty/veterans) and spouses of Service members who are working towards the completion of higher education degrees.
